More Information

1. Expertice
We plan to use handpicked farmers primarely from Norway that can show good result. We will try to find local persons who can work together with the Norwegian farmers to build a solid professional platform, so this cooperation can last long. We will also use experts from the Agriculture Univerity of Norway and let them work together with ImanuelKantUniversity in Kaliningrad, and other Agro Technical Institutes with focus on agriculture logistics, economy administration and strategically leadership.
It will also be important for the investors to think long term and find the best way to manage the soil for a long term (!) An example: For some it can seem to be a good idea to just make rape ( ru=raps ) for production of Biodiesel, but this type of product can destroy the soil for several years if this is done without caution. In Norway they just grow this type of plant every 5 or 7 year for to be sure that no illness could destroy the soil for a longer period (or generations )
We can also see that to use food plants to produce Bio-energy will not be very popular soon inside EU and in the whole west part of Europa in few years, and ban on import to EU might very soon be in place we believe. In Sweden they need now to plant othere plants just for this reason. The world wouldl need more food like grain and meat. Therefore its a chance that Bio-fuel might not exist or not be a priority for a long term, as we might see/know it today.
I may be therefore be difficult to get financing for this type of activity after short time. In our project we want to make a point out of the good old traditional agriculture, with help of new technology of course but in a safe way:
- Animal household (cows, sheeps, chickens, pigs, horses etc)
- Land cultivation
- Food processing (Milk, meat etc. (slaughtery)
- Other
2. Practice
We will look closely into how to find the best practice ways for this type of productions and find the best farmers from Norway that are ready to share their Agro advises, and same time use much time to listen to farmers / agro specialists in Kaliningrad. Most of Norwegian farms are relatively not very big in size and they need therefore to be clever to get a good and sufficient income out of such small business. In Kaliningrad it is available land for rent and we belive these factors might be a good combination. A lot of farmers will always dream about having a big farm. This is a factor that has shown it possible to find interested investors/farmers from Scandinavia to show interest for this type project in Kaliningrad.
We believe it will be vital to detect and find the right machinery and equipment to do the job in the field. Together with the Agriculture University of Norway it will possible to find both new and optimal methods. As an associated project we are therefore already in dialog with mentioned University relicensed production of different new agro machinery which could be interesting to produce in the Free Economical Zone of Kaliningrad.
